They say before you follow your passion, you have to find it within yourself.

Honestly, it can take what seems like forever to finally find what you are passionate about doing and can see yourself doing that assured thing favorably for the rest of your life. Passion can’t be found in your head either; you find it within your heart. It seemed to me that being depressed for years had made me tremendously submerged to which I had no passion or drive for anything at all. I was just going to go through life doing whatever came my way, which was always miserable. I knew what I wanted to do since I was a teenager, which is photography. I ABSOLUTELY love photography. Most of my longtime friends and family already knew of this special hidden dream of mine. But once I started struggling with depression the passion I had for photography became out of sight for me. I was focused on all the things I hated about life rather than what I treasured about it. Capturing the beauty in the world is the best part of being a photographer. Turning something that is usually unpleasant into a beautiful photograph is what has always amazed me. Being able to escape my mind for a moment and just focusing on the magnificence of the world while capturing every moment with my camera is all I’ve ever wanted to do.

Everyone will eventually find that one true fascination they are passionate about. Rather its being in a band and preforming in front of people, being a nurse and taking care of people, saving aminals, cooking, or simply being a teacher to help our generations to come be able to learn and be successful. You’ll find your happiness in what you do. I’m nowhere near being a photography expert but I guarantee you I will get there.

For now, If you would like to follow my photographs you can view them on Instagram @KrystieeLeePhotography. I will also be setting up this website not only for blogs but to view the photographs as well. On another note, I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read my posts and all the sweet feedback I have been receiving frequently. I hope to keep helping others with mental illnesses while helping myself additionally. We are all in this together. You are not alone.

Love, Krystie
